Sometimes we may feel somewhat anxious, panicky, maybe irritable, sad, or have a sense of grief or fear.
Perhaps we may feel a tightness in the chest and shallow breathing.
Possibly we may feel ourselves sighing, feeling a bit unclear of what to do next.
Here are two acupressure points that may prove helpful.
The two points, Ren-14 and Ren-17, have the following functions:
Open the chest.
Relax our breathing.
Harmonize the heart and lung energy.
Calm the heart’s spirit and the mind.
They can be easily located as shown in the diagram.
Using our fingertips, we can stimulate these points by gently stroking downwards from right above the Ren-17 point to below the Ren-14 point. Do this with gentle, soft breaths.
